Children need consistency and they thrive on daily routines. A structured routine appropriately set up in our childcare will give children a sense of security and help reinforce positive behaviors. However, it is only a guideline as the most important focus is on their interests and needs. Therefore, the daily schedule is simply an outline so that the children know what to basically expect from day to day. Our daily schedule will vary depending on the weather and/or season; for example, more time will be spent outside when the weather is nice, and indoor activities will often be planned when it is cold.

Toddler/Preschool Schedule:

7:00 - 8:00          Kids Arrive, Free Play

8:00 - 8:30          Breakfast

8:30  9:00           Circle Time, Music & Movements

9:00 - 9:30          Outside Play

9:30 - 10:00         Wash hands, Group Learning

10:00 - 10:30        A.M Snack

10:30 - 11:00         Indoor Activity

11:00 - 11:15          Clean up, Get ready for outside

11:15 - 11:45          Outside Play

11:45 - 12:00         Clean up, Wash hands

12:00 - 12:30         Lunch

12:30 - 1:00           Wash up/ Clothes Change
                                       Story Time

1:00 - 3:00             Naptime

3:00 - 3:30             P.M. Snack

3:30 - 4:00             Outside Play

4:00 - 4:30             Clean up, Group Time

4:30 - 5:30             Free Play/ Movie, T.V. time

Infant Schedule:

     Infants do not follow the same schedule as our Toddlers and Prechoolers. Infants have their own schedule. They are fed when hungry, and put to bed when tired. Infants should be talked to and played with on their schedules which usually is best after they are well-rested and fully fed.
